Situated just metres from the sea, each room boasts views that capture the majesty of the mountains, the ever-changing character of the sea, and frame some of the most stunning sunsets and sunrises you will ever see.
The snow-capped Seaward Kaikoura Mountains rising above Kaikoura Bay are a memorable sight during the winter months, and the occasional unseasonal snowfall on the tops at other times of the year is a bonus. Fishing boats anchored in the Bay provide a foreground to views of the open-sea horizon. Sea birds are common, and dolphins and seals may be seen on rare occasions.
The Panorama Motel is a 22-unit complex comprising a mixture of studio, 1-bedroom and 2-bedroom ensuite smokefree units. Each unit opens out onto either a patio area with outdoor seating, or onto its own private balcony.
