The hostel itself is situated in a sheltered position in the town making the Albatross a peaceful and relaxing location to spend time in Kaikoura.
We pride ourselves at the Albatross Backpacker Inn on our relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Our building boasts a fabulous lounge to relax in and heated rooms throughout. There is well appointed kitchen available or guests can make use of the outdoor Bar-B-Q area and veranda if you fancy some alfresco dining.
Other facilities include on-site carparks, Sky T.V. & video movies to watch for free, pack lockers for those guests wishing to store luggage and internet access (inc. wireless) and phone card facilities.
We are only a short walk from the town centre too, so you'll have access to a good selection of shops, bars and restaurants. Ask our staff for their recommendations!
